What do hungry barn cats, curious horses, and a gorgeous table setting have in common? Our recent styled shoot! A group of amazing vendors joined us to have some creative fun and Kendall with Kendall Hulbert Photography captured all the great moments for us.

Our original inspiration for this shoot was the fun cake design. We loved the idea of playing off a colorful cake for each place setting. We chose hand painted plates, colorful linens, and fresh berries to pull all of the colors together. The butcher paper over the gorgeous farm table gave us a blank canvas to work with. Although we had a beautiful table from Floyd Rustic, butcher paper is a creative and affordable way to cover a less than perfect table.

For the Love of Sweets gave us the beautiful cake bases to work with and we were able to decorate them with loose flowers and berries. Flowers by Eddie provided the boho inspired flowers for us to play with for the event.

The shoot took place on picture perfect farm in Vinton, VA full of every farm animal you can think of. We were given permission to roam the farm as we wanted but most of the time the animals came to us. We quickly discovered the cats there loved wedding cake and photo bombing all of our pictures and the horses loved to nibble on our flowers and follow us around to see what we were up to. Suffice to say we had the time of our lives playing with all of the animals.

Jolina Goad and Lauren Metro wowed us by bringing our model Hanna's look together with the perfect outdoor bridal hair and makeup. It was colorful, relaxed, and bridal all at the same time.

At the end of the day we all left the shoot with big smiles on our faces. Mainly because our bellies were full of cake and we have the best jobs ever.
